Ah, the Pisco Sour. If you've seen the Easter Island bottle sitting behind the bar, you now know what it's for. While new to the Australian cocktail scene, the Pisco Sour has been causing problems for Peruvians and Chileans for far too long and both lay claim to creating it. But, being Chilean, I know who's REALLY to blame! Nonetheless, don't let the 'Sour' put you off - it just means it doesn't taste like sugar water. Either made with a lemon or a lime base, it's perfect to just enjoy.
Tequila is so hugely underrated!!! But after a hundred bad nights of slamming bottles of it down in a single sitting for the sole purpose of making a mess, well, I used to hate it too. But through hard work and perseverance I have a new appreciation for it as something beyond the beginning of a 'Let's Get Hammered and Arrested' Party. The Aztec Gold is an amazing example Tequila at it's finest - strong and bold (because Tequila doesn't like to hide) but not overpowering - so you won't have acid flashbacks to mornings waking up in someone's backyard. With banana, orange and vanilla flavours running through it, the Aztec Gold is a winner when you have time and just want something to sip on and loosen up with.
